At Three System Solutions we offer three distinct design services. Using CAD/CAE, SolidWorks, 3D modelling software and a lot of ‘know-how’ our design engineers have provided insight, analysis, and design on a diverse range of engineering projects.

Our Design Services

BESPOKE DESIGNS

There are times when a unique problem requires a unique design.

During the conceptual design phase, we will work closely with our clients to establish the initial idea. Within this phase of the design, we will be able to provide our clients with a reliable assessment of the designs likely performance, possible look, basic understanding of the scope of the development, and expected costs.

Once we have established the design our team will put the detail in the drawings (fabrication and installation drawings) and turn a concept into reality.

When Bakers Waste Services Limited approached us with a problem of processing used computers on their site, we needed to apply some engineering design and ‘know how’ and came up with a complete mini plant processing system to accommodate their space, budget and processing needs. RE-DESIGNS TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

Our skilled design engineers have the experience to take any design and advise you on what improvements could be made, or if a more fundamental re-think is required.

We know that getting the design right is critical to optimising performance, reducing costly down-time, improving environmental impact, increasing design-life and ensuring the health and safety of its users.

At times a redesign does not have to be complicated and/or costly. Some simple modifications can have significant cost saving implications. For example, we turned a standard roller (for conveyor belts) into an interchangeable roller, and saved our client’s thousands of pounds on stock, replacing conveyor belts (to replace rollers) and reducing production down time.

FABRICATION & INSTALLATION DRAWINGS

As TSS provides a complete service from design, fabrication and installation we are very adept at producing fabrication and installation drawings from co-ordinated, detailed designs.

Using CAD and Solidworks Software our fabrication drawings efficiently communicate all the different details for making a product so that machine operators, production line workers, etc. can all understand the product they have been tasked to make. Fabrication drawings are the essential middleman between our designers and fabricators and must be drawn up accurately to avoid any misunderstandings or mistakes.

Installation drawings are particularly important when working on complex installations and are a working drawing whose features include, allowances for all supports and fixings necessary to install the works, installation details from fabrication drawings, plant and equipment, and space for support systems, installation methodologies and access for maintenance and replacement.
